Australian Growing Regions
Each plant has its own unique growing requirements, including the amount of sun, warmth and moisture. With Australia being such a large country, and the climate being so different depending on where you are, seeds and plants will perform differently at different times of the year in the different locations. On our seed packets and across our website, socials and other publications when we talk to growing regions, we base our information off the below map. We do our best to offer a guide of when each seed will perform at its best, however it is worth keeping in mind that every garden has its own unique micro climate which means you might be able to grow things outside of what is listed, and in some cases the growing window may also be a little shorter. There are also other variables including starting seeds inside on a heat mat, or growing your plants in a greenhouse. So don't be afraid to experiment a little with your growing times, and if you live near where a growing regions changes, if that growing times are slightly different why not giving both a try.
